PROGRAMS: Community Garden

The community of San Antonio is located high in the Balsamo mountains. Here women are learning irrigation and diversification of crops.

Salvadoran Enterprises funded seeds, plants, tools and water hoses (gravity brings water from the mountain top).

While learning skills in production, bookkeeping and marketing, women here also see the benefits of the Community Garden in the nutrition and health of their families.
